OnTime's highly trained technicians are certified to safely clean your upholstery and drapery in the comfort of your own home. Our cleaning system arrives on site and is equipped with multiple types of upholstery tools and dry cleaning equipment to effectively remove the difficult stains that occur from everyday use. Our dry cleaning method protects against fabric watermarks and shrinkage of drapes and window coverings.

Draperies and other soft window treatments act as a large sponge that helps filter dirt, dust and other contaminants out of your indoor environment. This is good, but these contaminants must be removed from your window treatments with periodic cleaning.
Draperies and other window treatments should be cleaned once every two years. Monthly vacuuming of the headings, pleats and the back of the drapery lining is a very good idea and will help remove surface dirt and dust. Drapes should be lined to protect them from direct sunlight. Fabrics such as silk, acetate, rayon and cotton are more sensitive to sunlight than fabrics containing synthetic fibers Such as polyester and acrylic.
Things to know:
The single most important thing to remember is to never wash your drapery by hand. This includes putting them in a washing machine or even cleaning them with mild soap and water. Just don't do it! You can (very carefully) lightly vacuum your drapery using the brush attachment of your vacuum. But remember to be gentle.
If that doesn't satisfy you, then take them to be dry cleaned. You should consider taking your drapery into a professional dry cleaner every 3 to 5 years. It is always best to use your own good judgment as to how often to have them cleaned. Nobody knows the elements your home is exposed to better than you do.
